So, I have off tomorrow for Yom Kippur (well, my whole district has off, I just benefit from the mid week break). I was thinking maybe I could sleep until 7:00 A.M. because that'd be freakin' sweet! Nah, I decide I'll join a couple other ladies for a group run in the morning. Real early. I'll be getting up at 4:30 (coffee's gotta do it's work before the run...), catch a ride at 5:10 and running by 5:30 for 6-7 miles. Usually I'm up at 6:00 A.M. for work and run at 8 or 9 at night. Guess I gotta make my body adjust for the new run time. On the plus side, I'll get to run with the sunrise instead of the sunset :)
On another random note, we're looking into a new car for me. We have a couple ideas. My main concern (besides money) is the whole sticker thing! I just got an Idiot's Running Club sticker, an HTFU sticker and a SportsKilt sticker for my car in the past few months. What do I do now? I mean I can't sticker a new car if I buy new stickers (well, one was free with the kilt). Do you stick them in the back window? A bit of tape? Nail gun? Glue? Hold them up in the window and hope for the best? I doubt I'll sticker a new car, but I'll really miss the HTFU that I just got and the IRC I got a few months back :(
Well, gotta get out for a couple tonight. make sure my leggies are still ok after the 5k- I haven't run since then and I feel like a slug...
If the sticker is good, you can sticker a new car. Trust me, I didn't hesitate to put my 26.2 or When Mom gets CRANKY I send her for a run sticker on my new car. :)
ReplyDeleteI'll have to think about it. I'd have to buy two of them anyway, though I may have scored a free >26.2 sticker
DeleteI sticker the back window. I've never put a sticker on the paint of my truck even if it is 11 years old.
ReplyDeleteI have one on a rear side window that doesn't go down. The other two are on the bumper. I may try to place them in the window without sticking them if I get replacements for them!
