Do you listen to music when you run?
I used to listen to music all the time when I ran to help me get through the miles...then I fell in love with running. Since then (the past year or more) I have only listened to music twice- the last run I did when I started feeling like crap (mile 2 of 11.5) and a run about 2-3 weeks ago just for something different.
There's nothing in particular that I listen to- whatever pops up on my ipod. Though it must have been pretty funny to see some skinny white guy with a shaved head belting out 'Gold Digga' on the trails...This past weekend it was Weezer radio on Pandora (my favorite station on there!!!).
Mostly, I like to listen to nature (or for cars) along with paying attention to my body and daydreaming to help my soul. I'll listen to my breathing and to the steps of my feet.
I'm listening to music on youtube right now- Adele and also Regina Spektor- two phenomenal female singers in alt rock right now. Their voices are simply amazing!
